The modern York Times has considered care of immediately a claim that one of its journalists said the First Lady “is a hooker”, calling the statement “completely inappropriate”.
Actress Emily Ratajkowski tweeted on Friday that a journalist from the newspaper had made the comment with her the night before, and called it for “slut shaming” Melania Trump.
Master of science Ratajkowski tweeted: “Sat next to a journalist from the NYT last nighttime who told me ‘Melania is a hooker’. Whatever your politics it’s critical to call this out for what: slut shaming. inch
“I don’t care about her nudes or sexual background and no person should, very well she said, adding: “Gender specific attacks are gross sexist bulls***. “
Fresh York Times spokeswoman Eileen Murphy said the news reporter had “referred for an unfounded rumor” about the First Lady, and editors have spoken to them about the lapse.
“The comment has not been intended to be public, but it was nonetheless completely unacceptable and should not have occurred, ” she added.
